DartUp Design Services began in 2007 in San Diego, CA. After 6 years of service as a Design Engineer and on the sales side as an Application Engineer in the computer and biotech industries, Matt d'Artenay wanted to provide a service where small businesses could hire temporary engineering talent. So he set forth to collect a team of engineers and CAD designers who could help those businesses without the proper resources, whether it be an as-needed basis or full-time contract. Each stage of the project can start from a concept rendering, to mechanical design, to fabrication and continual product support. Depending on the success of the product development or pace of the project, we can provide this technical assistance. As our team of engineers become more invested with your development, we can eventually break-off into a full-time employee of your company.
